Really awesome attention to detail, this place is run like a jeweled clock. From the parking lot attendees and shuttle execution, to the staffing at all chairs, they are operationally run well. The staff, on top of a solid operation, have great customer service attitudes, and are very friendly and helpful. The snow was deep and fresh, the runs well groomed and marked clearly. We had 2 experienced skiers and 2 noobies and everyone had a great time. We just came back from a week of skiing in Taos.
It was sunny, snow was awesome. Stayed in ski village. A bit of a pain right now as construction on hotel made some navigation around the village a bit more difficult. But when done, the ski village will be that much better. Explore all the runs, just note lots of the blacks and ALL double blacks are mogels. We definitely will be coming back.
Some of our best skiing. I had never skied Taos. We wanted to try something different. Taos Ski Valley was a breath of fresh air man. Definitely felt smaller, and higher up! It dumped almost 2 feet of snow in 2 days, so there was fresh powder and almost no grooming done.
I thought it was challenging and awesome, whereas some thought it was inconvenient that the trails were so rugged. The only drawback for me was that the new lift to all the black diamonds Kachina Peak was closed the whole time because of all the new snow. So, we definitely have to go back! Getting the discount lift tickets off this website was super easy too, and worth it. We stayed at Rio Hondo and it was great.
Even better if you have kids, because it is literally across the parking lot. SUPER nice people, but not a lot being taught. Thanks for making it easy to have a great trip!! They had something for everybody. Our sons said the terrain park was pretty small and they preferred just playing on the slopes since there was not a lot to do in the terrain area. Loved the little lift and slope for us to get acclimated to snow skiing again. We loved Honeysuckle. All the non-cafeteria restaurants had great food. If you have never been and are looking at a map of Ski Valley, there are no streets in ski valley.
All the stores and most restaurants are all right there at the base of the mountain. We rented equipment and had great results everywhere we went. We will go back and would recommend for all ski levels. No complaints. Great powder, trails, mountain staff and slopes. Would recommend to any skier, especially intermediate skill level or above.
We have been in love with Taos since our first experience 25 years ago. Hiked the ridge to Kachina peak mid week and the snow was still awsome. Glitch with the tickets we got from get-ski-tickets. It was fixed in 20 minutes and still worth the money we saved for all 6 of us skiiing.
Spring break week and there were still NO lines at our favorite runs. The drive is easy and scenic and not much hassle.

Even drove out to the Rio Grande gorge bridge to get a glimse of the comet one evening. Had a great time as usual. Our tickets were ready to pick up. The crew at Getskitickets. We will purchase future tickets through them. Went the day they received over a foot of snow. Skiing was great. Snow conditions on the mountain were awesome. The Saturday we skied it was a bit busy because only one lift was open until they got the go ahead to open most of the rest of the mountain.
Almost all of the Taos workers have a super friendly disposition which is great to be around. I will definitely go again! Had a very good time, staff is young and friendly, saved a lot on tickets, no hassle, got good action photos on Mtn from Cold Smoke Photo, had some good drinks at St Bernards and stopped at a Steeler bar in little village on the road out I think its Abes.

We went last year and the weather was perfect. For some reason this year it was skiing in short sleeve shirts. Thanks Mother Nature! Will do it again next year. THe mountain and the views are awesome and so are all the people who worked there. See you next year! We stayed at the condos right by the ski school lift forgot the name and it was perfect! We could ski right down to our condo! Overall I had my best experience skiing in about seven years!
Wonderful surprise! We will absolutely be coming back year after year to ski Taos. Some of our group took group lessons , that was so personal, they had videos made, recap each day after the lesson, they improved tremendously. This my third annual ski trip with my friends.
We have been staying at Sierra del Sol for the past three years. They have the closest condos to the base Lift 1 — main lift and they are priced okay. They are a 2 minute walk away from the lift. Taos has great runs for beginners and for pros. Their beginner runs are great and make you challenge yourself. Their blues are also awesome and challenging. You can definitely find a place to eat after a long day on the mountain.
My friends and I also venture to Taos, the town, which is about 25 minutes away by car. We like to pay a visit to Taos Outback Pizza. Really cool ambiance and very good pizza. I bought my lift tickets from GetSkiTickets and I was able to save a bunch of money over 3 days of snowboarding. Buying from this website was an excellent choice. I had some questions that Heather was able to answer when I called her phone. Once I went to Taos I was able to get my Lift pass in less than a minute by providing the ticket office with a print out of the email I received from this website.

Thanks GetSkiTickets and Taos, you made my rides extremely enjoyable this year! We normally ski Angel Fire but switched to Taos this trip. I think I found my new favorite ski resort. We happened to get good snow while there, but they were dry for the month of January so thankfully, the snow was great.
I bought lift tickets through GetSkiTickets. It was an easy process. The skiing was great even though Taos could have used more snow. The chutes on highline ridge are must ski if you like it steep. I skied Taos with my family this past Spring. We had an incredible day on the mountain!
